NHS Eligibility
NHS Eligibility
You may qualify if you're unable to leave home unaccompanied due to a physical disability, mental illness, medical condition, or frailty. Many patients aged 60 and over, or those with certain health conditions, also qualify. Contact us and we'll confirm your eligibility free of charge, with no obligation to book.
You can still book a private home eye test with us. We'll always let you know upfront whether your visit will be NHS-funded or private before your appointment is confirmed.
We'll ask a few simple questions over the phone or online to confirm eligibility. In most cases, no formal documentation is needed — our team will guide you through the process.
Most care home residents qualify for NHS-funded home eye tests due to their circumstances, but we always confirm eligibility individually before each visit.
This depends on your individual circumstances and any underlying eye conditions. We'll advise you on the recommended interval for your next test at the end of each appointment.
